Braindead - This psychotic one-man act should be pretty well-known by now... On this ep, Decomposing Serenity yet again delivers its usual bizarre conglomerate of thrashing riffs, drum-machine blastbeats, rapid shrieking and grotesque backing growls... Nice catchy Impetigo-esque mid-tempo rhythms and schizoid impromptu hyperspeed grind whirlwinds. As weird and insanely deranged as it gets! Like most of D.S. latest releases, imagery and lyrics deal with childish themes, lots of dolls, cruelty and perversion... A mix that's always creepy and effective. Inventive raw thrashing grind at its most disturbing... Appreciated.

Impaired - Very fast, very well placed and composed, very short, very offensive, the songs of the alone project one man band DECOMPOSING SERENITY from australia living in the states (hope you won't go to war, ahaha - if you do think to shoot some pix for me). Nothing's veyr different from the past releases, whereas the fact that the noise grind parts are shorter in the compos and better placed. I mean with a drum machine it is going to be boring very quickly adn I must admit that in the past I didn't reveiw some of the relases most of the time due to that. but here with the time it seems it has been better controlled. I personnaly more accepted the new middle tempo parts on each song this time and to be honest it is going to pleased the riffs worshippers in the grind udnerground scene. I am completely conscient that it should not be so easy to go away from your country and begin the whole thing again elsewhere but musically, now that years had been pasted it seems that Witter didn't lose his copositor's talent and capacities. Anyway it stays for used listeners but for beginners or people who'd like to know how it sounds this ep has to be recommended firstly before buying the old items and stuff. even the split Cd. Motherfucker - Nine newer trax here made by this loonie one-man band.The sound is pretty huge, the vox are unpredictable and so is the music and rhythm.Unique shit it is.Cover artwork is dolls again, an on the inside tens of naked ones. Musically it's grind/core/gore/whatever with occasional power riffing. Fast as shit and so good.A bit less aggressive than in early days but still an honest and enjoyable piece of shit.
